    Arrive Kathmandu

    Arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be met and receive a private transfer for the short distance into central Kathmandu and to the Dwarika's Hotel. You'll be given a pre-tour briefing and can then enjoy dinner in a choice of restaurants at this wondrous hotel, or elsewhere if you prefer.

    DAY 1

    Arrive Kathmandu

    Arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be met and receive a private transfer for the short distance into central Kathmandu and to the Dwarika's Hotel. You'll be given a pre-tour briefing and can then enjoy dinner in a choice of restaurants at this wondrous hotel, or elsewhere if you prefer.

    Explore Kathmandu

    After breakfast, a private vehicle (with a driver, of course) will enable you to undertake a Guided Tour of the principal sights of Kathmandu. You'll first visit the sacred Hindu site of Pashupatinath on the banks of the Bagmati River. Next, you'll head up to the Swayambunath hilltop above Kathmandu, the site of a Buddhist Stupa and Hindu monuments. Back into Kathmandu and to the Dwarika-owned Kaiser Cafe for lunch In the afternoon, your guide will take you on a walking tour of Kathmandu, including a visit to Durbar Square. Late in the afternoon, you'll visit the massive Buddhist Stupa at Bouddha, and then your private vehicle will return you to Dwarika's.

    DAY 2

You'll be met upon arrival and driven by private vehicle to your lakeside hotel, set in a peaceful part of Pokhara. In a sub-tropical climate, the afternoon is free to enjoy the sun in one of Pokhara's many laid-back lakeside cafes or perhaps take a boat out onto the lake. Now that you're in Pokhara, you might want to add on a couple more days here or even do a spot of trekking.

    Himalayan Sunrise & Fly to Pokhara

    Enjoy the breathtaking Himalayan sunrise, and after an early breakfast, it's down to the airport and the short flight to Pokhara. You'll be met upon arrival and driven by private vehicle to your lakeside hotel, set in a peaceful part of Pokhara. In a sub-tropical climate, the afternoon is free to enjoy the sun in one of Pokhara's many laid-back lakeside cafes or perhaps take a boat out onto the lake. Now that you're in Pokhara, you might want to add on a couple more days here or even do a spot of trekking.

    To Chitwan

    In the morning, you'll journey by private vehicle out of the Himalayan foothills and down to the Gangetic Plains, close to the border with India, and to the Barahi Jungle Lodge. One alternative would be to take a rafting journey on the Seti River, overnight at the Ker & Downey River Camp, and continue to Chitwan by river and road. An extra day would be required to incorporate this. Depending on the journey, you may arrive in Chitwan and be able to fit in an early afternoon game drive.

    To Chitwan

    A day of guided wildlife experiences in the Barahi way in Nepal's most famous National Park, Chitwan. You'll travel deep into the jungles with expert wildlife guides. Chitwan is of course home to the seldom seen Bengal Tiger, as well as the One Horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Mugger Crocodiles, and Gharial, as well as a dazzling array of colourful birds.

    Chitwan Jungle Safari

Here you'll board one of the dramatic mountain flight aircraft (window seat guaranteed) that, once airborne, follows the Himalayan chain before heading into the Khumbu region and towards Everest. As well as Everest, you'll see Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Gauri Shankar. Flight duration is around 45 minutes, and returning to Kathmandu gives you lots of time for souvenir hunting, relaxing by the pool at Dwarika's, or some independent sightseeing. However, you may wish to consider some additional contingencies for this trip, whether it be for any delays or cancellations that can and do occur for internal flights or any difficulties that may arise.
