Unknown High Passes Everest Trek

Everest The Hard Way

Cross the Renjo La and Cho La - Very challenging, committed trekking - Gokyo Ri & Kala Pattar classic Everest views

One of the more challenging Himalayan walks. This trek goes even more off the beaten track and includes the tough ascent of the Renjo La to Gokyo, then across the Cho La and a backdoor route to EBC. Definitely the realm of the serious, commited and very strong trekker. Possibly the greatest Nepal walking holiday. The altitudes involved in this trek up to EBC demand respect and thus the walking becomes more challenging as a result. There's the possibility to extend this trek and include the crossing of the Kongma La for the return leg from EBC. Don't forget our trekking holidays are tailor-made and whilst this itinerary includes acclimatisation days, you can always have more (not less) rest, acclimatisation and additional contingency days (highly recommended) added. The itinerary is merely a suggested itinerary and is  not entirely  'set in stone'. Sleeping bags (4 season) will be required for nights spent in trekking lodges. Additionally we strongly recommend the use of a walking ice axe and "in-step" crampons for the crossing of the Renjo & Cho La's. We can arrange sleeping bag & walking ice axe rental if required. This is a challenging trek and at high altitude and through experience we consider it as not suitable for novices. Previous experience is essential.
