Everest Heli Trek (Base Camp)

Everest The Fast Way - Complete the Everest Base Camp within a Two Week Vacation - Private Helicopter back to Kathmandu

Yes, a two week trek to Everest Base Camp! As most people can only take a two week holiday at any one time, an Everest Base Camp two week vacation hasn't really been a possibility.....until now!!! By using a private helicopter the return to Kathmandu takes just minutes instead of several days trekking. So, this Everest Base Camp Trek fits nicely into a two week holiday. Great, if visiting EBC and Everest herself has always been your dream, but you've never quite been able to find the time. Mindful of the challenging trekking and the necessity to acclimatise to the high altitudes, you'll trek the standard trail up to EBC, but after visiting Base Camp and seeing Everest from Kala Pattar you'll travel back to Kathmandu by private helicopter. This is an example itinerary and or illustrative purposes only reflects a "whistlestop trek" that assumes that the mountain gods have been kind with the weather and that any one undertaking it is both well-acclimatised and a very strong, experienced mountain walker. But, as this is a private Everest Heli Trek and can be customised we recommend consideration to split Day 9 to 2 days along with considering additional contingency days too. You may also wish to consider additional acclimatisation days (not less). This is a challenging trek and at high altitude and through experience we consider it as not suitable for novices. Previous experience is essential.

Sleeping bags (4 season) will be required for nights spent in trekking lodges. We can arrange sleeping bag rental if required.

NOTE: The price guide above is for a private party of 3 persons. A private, chartered helicopter represents a significant part of the over all cost of this trek and optimal use of seats on a helicopter has been taken into account. So, one helicopter can fly three clients AND the guide back to Kathmandu. For larger groups additional helicopter/s would be required seating up to 4 clients per helicopter. The total costs to charter one additional helicopter for one, two or three people being the same if the helicopter is chartered for four people.
